Skye is actually my pet dog; I used her as the inspiration for my stories.

Skye is a curious dog with a nose for adventure and heart full of magic.  Whether she is chasing butterflies, exploring unknown paths, or uncovering mysteries in the everyday world, Skye's warm-hearted tales invite children aged 5-8 to see life with wonder and imagination.

Through her adventures, young readers learn about empathy, responsibility, and the joy animals bring to our life.

I believe that the Adventures of Skye are more than stories - they are invitations to dream, to question, and to discover the world through curious eyes.

Skye's Adventures

Lynne Sherry

After more than twenty years as a teacher, I am now retired.  I dedicated my life to nurturing imagination and creativity in children through the power of storytelling.  Inspired by my beloved dog, Skye, I want to bring some of that joy and wonder to young readers everywhere.  My stories celebrate curiosity, empathy, and the magic of seeing the world through a child's eye.

Despite no longer teaching, I still want to continue my mission of encouraging children to dream big, ask questions, and discover the extraordinary in the everyday.
